OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma City Fire Department teamed up with the Oklahoma City Animal Welfare to rescue a dog trapped in a storm drain.
According to OKCFD, crews responded to a storm drain system near NW 17th St. after the Animal Welfare asked for help saving the dog.
Crews were able to remove multiple drain grates where they found the dog. The dog was quickly and safely removed from the drain.
“Not every call involves fire or medical emergencies. From structure fires to technical rescues to helping animals in need, our firefighters are ready to respond wherever they’re needed,” said OKCFD on social media…
