EDMOND, Okla. (KOKH) — During the extreme summer heat. a lot of people are heading to the pool. However, the heat is causing issues and impacting the pool hours at Mitch Park YMCA in Edmond.
The pools there have been closed since last week due to mechanical issues affecting the air conditioning systems in the pool areas. Due to this, the pools have been closing daily at noon and will continue to do so through at least August 2.
People who use the pools say this has been an ongoing issue for years…
