OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KFOR) – Two separate churches will be going without heat this weekend because of thieves, one in Oklahoma City and the other in Wetumka.
The Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Church near Northeast 36th and Kelley Avenue had copper in their main Air Conditioning unit stolen, essentially putting them out of cold air.
“I mean, this church has been in the community forever, forever,” said Deacon of Greater Mount Carmel Baptist Norris White.
