EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) – Seven-time Olympic medalist Shannon Miller was celebrated in her hometown of Edmond with the installation of new signage at Shannon Miller Park. Miller was a member of the 1996 Magnificent Seven, the first U.S. women’s gymnastics team to win Olympic gold.
The new park signage comes ahead of the 2028 Olympic Games, which will bring events to Oklahoma City. The hosting duties are expected to draw Olympic attendees from across the country to the surrounding area, including Edmond.
