OK!toberfest OKC: Beer steins, bratwurst and more at Fair Park

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City’s biggest German party is heading back toFair Park this fall, and it’s bringing a full slate of live oompah bands, a beer garden the size of a warehouse and a race featuring the world’s least aerodynamic dogs.

OK!toberfest OKC runs Oct. 15-18, 2026, and picks up where the beloved Choctaw Oktoberfest left off. That festival, hosted by the Turek family out of the Old Germany restaurant since 1991, grew to draw more than 40,000 people a year before making the jump to the fairgrounds in partnership with OKC Fair Park.

With roughly one in six Oklahomans claiming German heritage, organizers are betting there’s an appetite for the real thing — imported beer, authentic dance troupes and all.

Key takeaways

  • The bigger picture: OK!toberfest OKC returns to Fair Park Oct. 15-18, 2026, continuing the legacy of the beloved Choctaw Oktoberfest with live bands, a large beer garden and family-friendly programming.
  • The festival spans several zones, including the Paulaner Fest Tent beer garden, a German car show and the family-facing Marktplatz, with Sunday designated as Family Day featuring inflatables, crafts and a kid-friendly DJ.
  • Why this helps: Kids 11 and under get in free every day, but families should note that diaper bags aren’t allowed at the gate and all purchases are cashless, so planning ahead can help avoid surprises at the door.
