36-year-old Oklahoma City mother was in hot water after she was reported for child endangerment. The police visited an apartment to check on her 2-week-old newborn after a DHS worker alerted 911. The reason for the call was that the baby had reportedly tested positive for amphetamines, methamphetamine, cocaine, and fentanyl.
First responders arrived at the scene and instantly noticed that the baby was reportedly hypoglycemic, malnourished, and tachycardic. The mother, recognized as Savannah Sniffen, was reportedly pacing around the apartment as if she was stressed about something. She also reportedly changed her clothes multiple times while the officers were there, which commenters believe may have been to ensure there weren’t any traces of drugs on her clothes.
When asked whether she was using drugs, Sniffen reportedly denied being under the influence, but did acknowledge that she had a history of drug abuse. She also admitted that she had recently relapsed on fentanyl. Naturally, the police had to search the premises and found a couple of interesting pieces of evidence.
In particular, the authorities found three pieces of burnt aluminum foil, with one piece of foil being directly beside the baby’s bassinet, a prescription bottle of oxycodone with the label ripped off, and clonidine that was prescribed to someone else…
