Oklahoma City retail theft spike leads to arrests, drug seizures and recovered goods

OKLAHOMA CITY (KOKH) — A recent spike in thefts at major shopping areas has prompted Oklahoma City police to launch a series of operations in the Santa Fe Division, resulting in multiple arrests, drug seizures and the recovery of stolen merchandise.

Officers said the Santa Fe Division CRIME Unit identified several suspects who were also violent offenders, which led them to teaming up with businesses to help curb crime.
