Gunfire at NE Oklahoma City Club, 300 Inside; No Victims Found

Gunfire erupted outside a Northeast Oklahoma City club early Saturday, prompting officers to respond to a scene where roughly 300 people were inside. Police say 15 to 20 shots rang out near Northeast 36th Street and Lincoln Boulevard, but when officers arrived, they could not locate any victims or suspects.

Officers were called to the 200 block of Northeast 36th Street just before 1 a.m., according to KOCO, which first reported the incident. The outlet, citing reporter Zach Sexton, said officials were unable to determine who fired the shots or whether anyone was struck, leaving the case open as investigators continue working the scene.

The address places the shooting at the doorstep of The Tree Lounge, a nightlife venue at 203 NE 36th St that has drawn police attention before. Local listings site TravelOK identifies the club as sitting in that same 200 block, and it’s not the first time gunfire has broken out there. In March 2023, a security guard at the venue was shot in the chest and critically wounded before the gunman fled, an incident reported at the time by KOCO 5 News.
