NEWKIRK — Esther Carlen Brown, 49, Ponca City, entered guilty pleas to drug charges filed against her in 2025 in Kay County District Court. Brown was sentenced to 35 years in prison with all but 19 years suspended on aggravated drug trafficking charges and conspiracy to aggravated drug trafficking and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. She was also assessed a $50,000 fine with $48,000 of that suspended.
