“He Bit My Ear Off”: 911 Calls Reveal Chaos Before Oklahoma Delivery Worker’s Death

A stove delivery to the wrong Oklahoma address spiraled through an unusual encounter with a car full of juveniles before two coworkers fought in the road, leaving one shot dead and the other hospitalized with multiple stab wounds.

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded shortly before 8 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, to College Avenue in the eastern part of the county. The two men had been traveling together for a third-party delivery company and were attempting to deliver a stove when they discovered they had the wrong house.

Before deputies arrived, witnesses made two 911 calls roughly 15 minutes apart. The first described one of the workers behaving erratically after the failed delivery. By the second, a caller was reporting that one man had been shot in the neck, another had been stabbed repeatedly and both were lying outside the delivery truck…
