Nearby businesses recorded the driver barreling through the intersection, wiping out light poles, street signs, and trees. The driver then swerved across the street and crashed into a chain link fence.

“I just heard a loud boom,” said Nestor Garcia, owner of Los Amigos Tire Shop near the intersection. “I see a pickup truck hit two poles.”

Garcia said he rushed over the check on the driver.

“I couldn’t really understand what he was saying. It was like mumbling,” said Garcia.

The tire shop owner said he told the man to call police and a tow truck, but Garcia said the driver got back in his vehicle and drove away.

Cell phone video from an employee at Pride Cannabis also captured the moments after the crash.
