Authorities respond to plane crash near Guthrie-Edmond Airport

GUTHRIE, Okla. ( KFOR ) — Logan County Police Department and Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to a reported plane crash Wednesday night near Guthrie-Edmond Regional Airport.

Officials say the plane crash happened around 8:30 p.m. near East Seward Road and South Midwest Boulevard.

According to authorities, the pilot was the only person on the plane and was checked by medics when they arrived to the scene.

OHP confirmed it was a small aircraft that crashed.

No injuries were reported and there is no other information at this time.
