Public input sought on I-40 corridor study in Midwest City, Del City area

Del City, Okla. (KFOR) – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT) says, the I-40 corridor study between Reno Avenue and Hudiburg Drive in Del City is now available. The virtual open house according to ODOT says, materials will be presented at a public meeting on August 22 at the Del City Community Center including an update on the upcoming bridge replacement project on I-40 over Sunnylane Road.

The I-40 corridor being studied extends from Reno Ave. east to I-240 and has been split into three sections. Section one includes Reno Ave. to Hudiburg Dr., section two includes Hudiburg Dr. to Douglas Blvd., and section three includes Douglas Blvd. to I-240.

ODOT officials confirm, section one of the study is now available for review while studies for section two and three are still in the planning phase. The public meeting on section one will have ODOT staff available to answer questions, says ODOT officials.
