UCO, Langston renew historic rivalry

It’s been 25 years since Central Oklahoma and Langston squared off against each other on gridiron. Separated by just 28 miles, the rival schools played one another in 30-straight matchups from 1956 to 1986 and continued the game intermittently even after UCO transitioned to Division II in the 1990s. By the time the final matchup between the Bronchos and Lions was played in 1999, the two teams had faced off 38 times in the previous 44 seasons.
