Tenured Braum’s worker Pays It 4Ward with a smile

EDMOND, Okla. ( KFOR ) — “I like being around people. I’ve got a lot of good customers here.” 73-year-old Vicky Spence has been working at Braum’s for decades, and now it’s at the location on Danforth in Edmond.

And in those years, she has made a strong impression on her breakfast customers like Stan McGough, who nominated Vicky for Pay It Forward.

“She’s just been super nice to me and my friends that come here,” Stan says. “She’s just fantastic. And it’s good for somebody to put a smile on your face first thing in the morning.”

Vicky’s coworkers agree with Stan.

“She’s just a long term, dedicated employee,” Vicky’s boss, Laura Sossamon, says. “She comes to work, she does her job, she serves the customers, and she loves the product. And she’s been a rock for all these stores for years and years. And I love having her.”

After receiving the $400 Pay It Forward award money from First Fidelity bank’s Cameron Allen, we went with Stan to surprise Vicky.
