The University of Oklahoma (OU) has announced a $4.5 million gift from the Anne & Henry Zarrow Foundation to support the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work. The gift will establish a doctorate-level program at the school, slated to begin in fall 2025, and cover the cost of annual cohorts of six PhD students. In addition, the funding will support several key initiatives throughout the school, including four tenure-track positions, a chair appointment to be filled by a rotation of high-ranking scholars, and the creation of educational programming in high schools and community colleges.
