“Many people don’t know that the museum building (9 East Sheridan Avenue, Oklahoma City) was once a candy factory that made candy canes for the holiday season,” commented museum director, Johnny Baier, adding “To carry on our building’s proud pedigree during this festive time of year – with music and fun and candy canes – seems a natural way for us to celebrate the season.”
Baier will take the stage and play his favorite sing-along Christmas songs followed by the museum’s Outreach and Promotions coordinator Lucas Ross. In addition to music, there will be kid’s crafts and a photo opportunity with Santa.
Admission to A Candy Cane Christmas is free when you bring a new, unwrapped toy in support of Red Andrews Christmas Dinner. Kids 15 and under are free during the event.
