OKC City Council approves land donation agreement for new multipurpose stadium

OKLAHOMA CITY – The OKC City Council approved a real estate donation agreement with Echo for land that will be the future site of a multipurpose stadium. Echo agreed to donate nine acres of land near South Shields Boulevard and Southeast Third Street to be used for a multipurpose stadium that will be funded partially through the MAPS 4 program. Through its sports and entertainment affiliate Echo Soccer, Echo bought the area of property east of the Oklahoma City Convention Center and south of Bricktown with the plans to develop the surrounding area into a sports-centered entertainment district.
