Extreme Winds and Severe Storms Headed For Oklahoma

March is off to a classic Oklahoma spring weather start. So far this month the state has seen spring-like temperatures, severe storms, snow and a few tornadoes. And it looks like Oklahoma is just getting started as a two big storm systems are expected to impact the state this week.

Last week, Oklahoma had its first taste of spring severe storms. The state saw 13 confirmed tornadoes on Tuesday, March 4, which included nine EF1 tornadoes and 4 EF0. In southeast Oklahoma, the town of Ada received significant damage from an EF1 tornado that traveled 3.7 miles and resulted in one injury. The City of Ada reported that there were 24 families displaced due to damage to their homes.
