GUTHRIE, Okla. (KFOR) — One person was arrested near Guthrie High School on Thursday afternoon after the school was placed on a brief lockdown.
According to Guthrie Public Schools, a Guthrie HS student told office staff that they saw a stranger in the parking lot with a gun at around 12:38 p.m.
The school was then placed on lockdown as a school resource officer went to investigate while Guthrie Police and Logan County deputies responded to the incident. Guthrie Upper Elementary was also placed on lockdown as a precaution.
