Oklahoma City Father And Son Sentenced To 14 Years Each In Illegal Gun Possesion Case

Nicois Megale Smith, 40, of Oklahoma City, has been sentenced to 84 months (7 years) in federal prison for illegally possessing a firearm after a previous felony conviction, announced U.S. Attorney Robert J. Troester. His father, Albert Smith, Jr., 62, had previously received the same sentence, bringing the total to 14 years for the pair.

A federal grand jury returned a three-count Indictment on August 16, 2023, charging Nicois with two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm, and Albert with one count of the same charge.
