Tornado Watch Issued for Parts of Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas Until 9 PM Friday Night

Norman, OK – A Tornado Watch has been issued for several counties in Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas until 9 PM CDT Friday, April 4, 2025, according to the National Weather Service. This watch impacts areas in Louisiana’s Bossier, Caddo, and Webster parishes; McCurtain County in Oklahoma; and several counties in northeast Texas, including Bowie, Cass, Gregg, and others.

The watch, issued by the NWS Storm Prediction Center, warns that conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms capable of producing tornadoes. Residents in the affected areas are urged to stay weather-aware and to prepare for rapidly changing conditions.
