Local 2055 raises funds for firefighter’s family

Yukon Fire Local 2055 is asking the public to contribute to the family of Yukon firefighter Brandon Jeter, whose three-year-old son has been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.

A GoFundMe account has been established for Cole Jeter, who has Juvenile myelomonocytic leukemia (JMML). This blood cancer primarily affects young children, characterized by the uncontrolled growth of immature monocytes, a type of white blood cell, in the bone marrow.

The goal is to raise $160,000 to help cover the medical expenses, treatments, travel back and forth to LA and any additional support needed for Cole and their family during this difficult time…
