Over the weekend, Stillwater, Oklahoma, was flooded with tourists, all who were gathering in and around Boone Pickens Stadium to see the reunion of the legendary Red Dirt band, Cross Canadian Ragweed. Formed in Stillwater, Oklahoma, in the mid-90s, Cross Canadian Ragweed became a cornerstone of the Red Dirt movement, releasing seven studio albums and three live records before calling it quits in 2010.
Even though they were not an active band for fifteen years, the group was majorly influential on many of today’s Oklahoma and Texas country artists, including Koe Wetzel, Kolby Cooper, Dylan Wheeler, Treaty Oak Revival, Kody West, Tanner Usrey, and more…
