A former Yukon Planning Commission chairman shared his views about Yukon’s proposed amphitheater with current commissioners at their April meeting – calling it the “worst possible idea” for Yukon citizens.
Venu Holding Corp. is seeking City of Yukon approval to construct a 12,500-seat outdoor music venue with 70 concerts per year on a 20-acre site on Yukon’s west side. The Yukon City Council voted 3-1 at its April 1st meeting to spend $60,000 on a feasibility study for the project on this property – on the west side of Frisco Road just north of the I-40 interchange.
