OMEGA — A small high school about 60 miles northwest of Oklahoma City hosts about 500 people each year to celebrate fewer than 20 students as they walk across the auditorium stage and earn their diplomas.
The Lomega High School auditorium doubles as a cafeteria where, on a regular day, a visitor might see a seventh-grader sitting with a 10th-grader chatting over goulash. They might also see a 12th-grader grab their lunch to-go as they rush to the local CareerTech center.
