Commuters leveraging Citylink for their daily travels should prepare to adjust their schedules and routes, as construction works in Edmond are set to disrupt the familiar pathways. Starting next Monday, Citylink Routes 4, 5, and the 100X will undergo temporary rerouting to accommodate a construction project at the intersection of Ayers Street and N. University Drive, the City of Edmond’s official website announced recently.
Due to these changes, Route 4 is slated to deviate from its standard course. After departing the transfer station, the bus will head north to Thatcher Street via Boulevard and then proceed eastbound until it’s able to resume its normal route on N. University Drive. Meanwhile, Route 5 is expected to similarly detour south on Boulevard, cut across east on Campbell Street, and reconnect with N. University Drive. The 100X commuter service will to follow the same detour as Route 5 during the construction period.
Several stops will be temporarily out of service, notably the ones at Ayers Street and N. University Drive, as well as Edwards Street and N. University Drive.
