Calm wind becoming south southeast around 6 mph in the afternoon.” As evening approaches, the clear skies will persist, leading to a low around 73 degrees. The gentle breeze will persist to slowly become more sustained as the night progresses.
For tomorrow, the NWS is forecasting “mostly sunny, with a high near 93,” but the comfort factor may be compromised with heat index values to potentially top 102 degrees. The day will also see a significant uptick in wind speed, with south winds blowing at 10 to 17 mph and the possibility of gusts reaching as high as 26 mph.
