OKC’s earliest meeting spot and a new sign to mark it

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — As rush hour traffic whizzed by on N. MacArthur Avenue on a June evening, a few historians and longtime local residents gathered to place a new historical marker at the entrance to Castle Falls.

It’s now a restaurant and event space owned by Amy Rollins and her husband.

The structure, modeled after a castle in France, was built by construction magnate Bill Blecha in the mid-1940s…
