2 escape duplex fire in southwest OKC, suffer smoke inhalation

OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. (KOKH) — Two people escaped a duplex fire in Southwest Oklahoma City on Monday around 5:30 p.m.

Oklahoma City Firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 1300 Block of SW 20th Street. When crews arrived, they found light gray smoke coming from an open rear door leading to the kitchen.

Crews searched the duplex, and luckily, no occupants were trapped. The fire was found in a bedroom and was quickly brought under control…
