New documents shed light on what led up to a shooting in Edmond

EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) – Newly obtained court documents provide details about what led up to a shooting in Edmond on Tuesday.

21-year-old Micah Hill was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon Tuesday, after he opened fire on his girlfriend’s husband.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Hill told police that he was sitting in his girlfriend’s car when a man, whom he says is his girlfriend’s husband, approached the car and looked inside.

Hill says he was scared, given a previous history. Hill says the husband had “previously spit in his face, threatened him,” and even showed up to his place of work looking for him, resulting in termination.

The document says that because of Hill’s fear, he retrieved a gun from his girlfriend’s purse and got out of the car…
