Unfortunately, Oklahoma has one of the most heartbreaking statistics in the country. For every 100,000 people, 16 of ours go missing. Because of such a staggering number, Oklahoma is known as the state with the highest number of missing people per capita.
Even worse, recently there have seemed to be a spike in missing youth in Oklahoma, including right here near Lawton. Below, we’ve included descriptions of the most recent missing persons reports so you know who to look out for.
In some cases, families have been fortunate enough to be quickly reunited with their missing loved ones. We’re hoping that spreading the word can make this possible for even more families in the sooner state.
