Langston man arrested after deadly Stillwater shooting; charged with attempted officer shootings

A Langston man is behind bars in Logan County after police say he opened fire inside a Stillwater apartment early Monday morning, killing two people and injuring a third.

Stillwater Police have identified the suspect as 36-year-old Theodore DeMarrio McCloud. According to investigators, McCloud entered an apartment in the 200 block of W. Elm Avenue and began shooting. Vanessa Henry, 38, and Andrew Rice, 35, were pronounced dead at the scene. A third victim, 34-year-old Carman Murphy, was rushed to a local hospital and is expected to recover.

Authorities confirmed McCloud knew the victims, but a motive has not yet been released…
