OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – A mega sports and entertainment store, Scheels, is making its way to the Oklahoma City metro. It’s only a few more steps away from breaking ground and opening its doors to taxpayers.

Oklahoma is no stranger to Scheels, as the company opened Tulsa’s 319,000 square foot location last year.
The new location in Oklahoma City will be located west of Lake Hefner Parkway, just north of Memorial Road.
“It’s really something for everyone. It’s an odd collection, it’s kind of like a Swiss Army knife, but it works,” said Trevor Klein, Scheels Director of Operations. “It’s a Nordstrom, it’s a Dick’s House of Sports, and it’s a Bass Pro all rolled into one.”.
