The owner of an Oklahoma City audio-visual company reiterated his offer to Yukon city leaders to provide Route 66 monuments after claiming his design had been improperly used during a recent bidding process.
The Yukon City Council, at its Aug. 13th meeting, voted 5-0 to reject bids submitted for the city’s Route 66 Centennial sign project and issue a request for proposal (RFP) using new sign designs.
In the same motion, council members rescinded moving forward with Metro Sign on the project.
