OKCPD issues traffic safety enforcement alert beginning September 8

OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – On Monday, the Oklahoma City Police Department (OKCPD) issued a traffic safety enforcement alert.

According to police officials, the traffic safety enforcement is designed to reduce collisions and keep our community safe.

OKCPD is scheduled to begin conducting the Traffic Safety Enforcement Project beginning September 8 – 12, 2025.

The areas of focus will be as follows:

  • East/West: Santa Fe Ave. Sara Rd.
  • North/South: NW 150th NW 122nd

Drivers should expect to see an increase in enforcement in the areas to address dangerous driving behaviors alongside educating drivers on roadway safety.
