OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The Oklahoma City Police Department is releasing some safety tips as the state fair quickly approaches.
The Oklahoma State Fair is scheduled for September 11-21. As guests head to the fairgrounds, OKCPD has the following tips:
- Stay aware: Keep an eye on your things and the people around you.
- Set a meeting spot: It’s important to have a place to meet in case someone in your group gets lost.
- Secure valuables: Don’t leave wallets or purses out in the open.
- Lock your vehicle: Don’t leave valuables in plain sight.
