Yukon home to ‘Elite’ pageant winner

Kimberly Dickey made history this summer, and she proudly proclaims to be a women changing the world … “one rhinestone at a time”.

The Yukon resident is honored to serve as the National American Miss program’s first “Miss Oklahoma Elite” – and the first African American winning the Elite title. She was crowned during the 2025 National American Miss Pageant in late July at the Embassy Suites-La Vista in Omaha, Neb.

National American Miss is based on the foundational principle of fostering positive self-image by enhancing natural beauty within. The program’s goal is to grow confidence and teach real-world skills in the girls and women contestants…
