I am bewildered at the actions of this City Council at every turn. This Council led by Mayor Pillmore and quietly followed by Vice Mayor Wootton continues to push their own agenda. There has been nothing but self-serving, back-room deals from these two. So much so that it would be too voluminous to discuss in detail here. Pillmore and Wootton are so arrogant in their actions that they continue to use their position for their own benefit.
As a property owner and landlord, from time to time over the years I have received letters from the City giving me 10 days to have a yard mowed that a tenant may have neglected. I actually received one of these letters at the first of the month giving me 10 days to mow and remove tree limbs that had been dumped on my property.
However, if you are the Mayor, it would appear that it’s not necessary to mow at all. It has come to my attention that property owned by Pillmore has probably not be mowed all year. In fact, that property until a week ago was nearly six feet tall. This property had been turned into Code Enforcement at least as early as July 15th multiple times. With no action…
