Scammers are able to call from what appears to be an OKC Municipal Court phone number demanding money for their tickets or they may go to jail. The scammers also tell residents that if they go to the municipal courthouse, they will be taken to jail, which is false.
According to OKC Municipal Court, anyone who receives a call like this should immediately hang up and call Municipal Court at 405-297-3898 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.
