In a recent announcement from the City Council’s Sept. 22 meeting, it was revealed that A.J. Krieger will soon take the reins as City Manager of Edmond. According to a statement obtained by the City of Edmond’s official website, Krieger, who is currently the Town Manager of Firestone, Colorado, is set to begin his tenure on Nov. 10. This decision places an individual with more than twenty years of experience in city management at the helm of Edmond’s administrative duties.
Before taking this new role, Krieger was praised for leading Firestone through a time of major growth. Under his leadership, the town built key public facilities and improved its water and transportation systems. He also helped create long-term plans to support sustainable development.
