OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. (KOKH) — Governor Kevin Stitt was at the Regional Food Bank in Oklahoma City on Wednesday to speak on the impacts of the federal government shutdown, including the challenges families will face when it comes to SNAP benefits starting November 1 if the government has not reopened.
The Governor stressed that it is a federal issue, and Congress needs to act. He also spoke about the Oklahoma Standard and said it is time for Oklahomans to step up to take care of fellow Oklahomans.
