Oklahoma County honors beloved courthouse shoeshiner and Army veteran Cleo Fields
OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma County officials posthumously honored a veteran on Monday who left a lasting legacy at the courthouse. Long-time shoe shiner Cleo Fields served his country before setting up shop at the courthouse for nearly three decades.
Family and friends will tell you Fields had a servant’s heart, so it was only fitting that he joined the Army after high school and served his country for 12 years…
