Griffin Memorial Hospital services moving to SW OKC

NORMAN, Okla. (KFOR) – Funding for a new mental health facility is now being used elsewhere. The Department of Mental Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) scrapped its plan to build a new hospital that cost more than $130 million.

Instead, they’re now renovating an old hospital in Southwest Oklahoma City, which will replace Griffin Memorial Hospital.

Griffin Memorial Hospital has served Oklahomans for more than 100 years.
