OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – The City of OKC says it’s replacing one of its two water storage tanks at its booster station near Northwest 52nd and Colfax Place.
City officials say the demo is expected to be completed before Christmas. This booster station pulls water from the Hefner Water Treatment Plant, serving customers along the NW Expressway corridor.
Neighbors should expect an increase in noise, dirt, and vibrations; otherwise, no changes are expected regarding water quality or pressure during the work. City leaders say construction will take place on city property and is set to cause minimal impact to streets or traffic.
