WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – The Oklahoma Department of Transportation is warning of the potential for freezing fog that may affect travelers from the Texas state line east to I-35 and possibly the Oklahoma City metro.
This fog is known to create black ice, which is very difficult for drivers to see. Crews will treat it with salt and sand on elevated surfaces such as highways, interstate bridges, and overpasses.
