OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – Several families are holding their children much closer after a car slammed into a daycare, igniting a huge fire.

“Unfortunately, the worst case scenario was I thought he was dead,” said Kaitlyn Mapp, whose son was inside the daycare.
Kaitlyn Mapp recalls the moment she learned about her son’s daycare catching on fire with him inside.
“The first arriving engine arrived on scene, there was already heavy smoke and flames coming from the building,” said Battalion Chief Scott Douglas, with the Oklahoma City Fire Department.
