MIDWEST CITY, Okla. (KFOR) – A Midwest City mom said that she was startled by someone kicking down her door in the middle of the night. It happened around 2 a.m. Sunday morning at her home near Midwest City High School.
“I was asleep in the bedroom, which is in the very back,” said Kathi Poe. “We heard a noise. And I actually thought one of my cats have knocked something over. Then, when I got up, I realized that the door had been kicked in and I could see straight outside.”

Poe’s security cameras captured a masked person opening the screen door and kicking her wooden front door three times. The third kick knocked a panel out of the door and splintered the side facing the inside of the home. The masked person was then seen falling as they tried to jump off the porch.
Since the incident, Poe said she has struggled to sleep in her own home.“I have been nervous because not really necessarily for the damage, but just for peace of mind,” said Poe. “A boundary has been violated.”…
