Union City, OK – A small earthquake was recorded early Wednesday, shaking parts of Canadian County and areas west of the Oklahoma City metro.
According to the Oklahoma Geological Survey (OGS), the magnitude 2.8 earthquake occurred at approximately 5:11 a.m. Monday near Union City, about 18 kilometers (11 miles) west of town.
