Trespassing charges dismissed against Oklahoma pastor after defending wife from alleged assault

EDMOND, Okla. (KFOR) — Trespassing charges have been dropped against an Oklahoma pastor who came to the defense of his wife at an Edmond clothing store in November and refused to leave.

Pastor Derrick Scobey, a member of the Oklahoma County Jail Trust, had accused a clothing store manager of inappropriately touching his wife, Angela Scobey.

She described the incident as uncomfortable and said that she was trying on clothes at White House Black Market in Edmond when an employee made a statement that she was “curvy,” then proceeded to allegedly touch her butt.

His wife said that she had moved away from the employee afterwards, but was touched a second time. She then proceeded to the dressing room and called her husband…
